Impact Soundworks
Impact Soundworks was founded in 2008 by composers Andrew Aversa (also known as zircon) and Wilbert Roget, II (known for his work on Mortal Kombat, Destiny 2, and Helldivers 2).
Since the beginning, we’ve focused on creating affordable, in-depth, easy-to-use sample libraries. We try to offer something new in every library, whether it’s a classic instrument in unprecedented detail or an entirely new sound.
We create beautiful, elegant designs and inviting user interfaces, with a generous selection of easy-to-use presets so users can dive right into making music (though you can customize everything if you’re like us and enjoy looking under the hood).
And we’re happy to answer your questions, listen to your suggestions, and just talk shop about virtual instruments with our fellow musicians!
We believe great music and interesting sounds can come from anyone, anywhere – and so to make great music software, we strongly value diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The members of our growing, globally-distributed team reflect this philosophy.
By keeping our eyes and ears open to new sounds & approaches around the world, we’ve collaborated with musicians and sound designers outside of our regular staff to create critically-acclaimed projects like Pedal Steel, Koron, inSIDious, Kageyama Taikos, Tokyo Scoring Strings and many others.
