Prominent member of the Contrebande project with Habstrakt and Basstrick, French Paris-based Asdek is known for his Bass House productions (“Switchin” and “Es Isso”), but also for his and above all for his disconcerting ease of juggling styles with a clinical production quality.
He’s been featured on official remixes for Knock2, Apashe and RL Grime, but also stood out for his collaboration with Vladimir Cauchemar on the track “Brrr” with rappers Laylow and Rim’k (Gold record in France).
He has played at numerous European venues and festivals: Lollapalooza Paris, Docks des suds suds, Delta Festival, La Clairière, Phantom, T7, Bikini as well as in Montreal and Dubai.
Driven to fuse his musical influences in unprecedented ways, Asdek has collaborated with labels: Monstercat, Confession, Barong Family, Insomniac and more recently Nightmode.
He has also received the support of numerous electronic music stars such as Skillex, Fred Again, DJ Snake, RL Grime, Oliver Heldens, Tchami, Malaa and many others, before joining the Virgin Music France label.
It was under Virgin Music France that Asdek released his EP “you should have closed the door before you left” in November 2023. He then embarked on “The Lost Tapes Tour” in the spring of 2024 with his good friend streamer Ava Mind.
