BIO
Daniel Ruczko is a self-taught writer, filmmaker, music producer, and creative director born in Bremen, Germany. His journey started at 12 years old, making beats on his Amiga 500, filming short videos with his best friend and evern creating his own smalle video games. Since then, he’s built a multidisciplinary career spanning storytelling, sound, design, and education—driven by curiosity and a deep love for creative expression. In 2018 Ruczko moved to Los Angeles.
As a writer, Daniel has published novels and art books, alongside multiple screenplays and daily product copy for international brands and tech companies. In music, he’s released 10+ albums and countless singles—mainly in the drum & bass and hip-hop space—under his artist alias Rusher, and composed music for film and video games. As a DJ, he’s played hundreds of shows around the world at clubs, festivals, and everything in between.
His work in sound design includes sample packs, plugin libraries, and video games. As a visual artist, he creates motion graphics, 3D renders, Logos and animated content using tools like Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine. On the film side, Daniel has won over 65 international awards for his short films, including multiple screenings at the Cannes Film Festival.
In addition to his creative work, Daniel teaches music production and sound design, consults for music tech companies, and occasionally supports artists and companies in an A&R role.
Whether it’s a product video, a novel, a synth library, or a script—he’s hands-on from concept to execution, always learning, always creating.
